Executive Officer

Reports to the Executive (the governing body of the Association)

  • Agricultural associations (Federated Farmers, Beef and Lamb, Wool
  • Brokers, Wool Classers Association, Wool Research Organisation of
  • New Zealand etc)
  • Primary ITO and WDCs
  • Government (especially MBIE, ACC, Immigration, Tahi Ngātahi)

Role Purpose

The Executive Officer is responsible for developing and implementing an action plan based on the Association’s Strategic plan and objectives.

The role is responsible for – Growth and expansion of the Association.

The role is the primary contact point for all internal and external stakeholders, and is responsible for both responding to stakeholder queries or needs, and proactively promoting the objectives and successes of the Association to members and external stakeholders.

Skills and experience

  • 10 – 15 hours per week
  • Self-employed contractor with own home office
  • Must be located within one hour’s drive of a main New Zealand airport, otherwise flexible on location.
  • Hourly rate dependent on experience ($80 - $120)
